Just after it ran out, my laptop lost it's sound, wireless and would only let me on the internet, so I swiped it all, and re started the laptop from Scratch, I managed to gain it all back, I have had to do this several times after too, from the same situation, but the amount of times I have had. May 23, 2013 - I have an Acer Aspire laptop 3610 series. The machine was running well with a licensed Windows XP Home Edition. Now the windows gone.

Now I can't seem to find my app again, is there any other FREE apps? Or Cyberlink itself. (Please only full versions.) Or would re-booting my laptop again work? Thanks for all your help.:). Best Answer: If you have XP then you have a netbook not a laptop. That also explains why it is using cyberlink instead of creative or logitech which are used on most real laptops. You can reinstall the original software AND he drivers for your unit by simply going to your computer mfgrs website.

Driver downloads are FREE, you don't need to buy anything. You also might try this I personally would prefer the correct software. The link above is for specific models, but you can often 'get away with it'. It DOES work with XP. If it doesn't work, just uninstall it. This is a trial version, but more 'fun' than the one that came free. Use it for 30 days.
