I borrowed a computer and would like to add the dives to my original log-file. Any help gratefully received. However, I did it on a liveaboard, without web the manuals for the software, or web access to ask questions, and seem to remember it was pretty straightforward. If you need more help let me know.

A warning appears on the screen telling you that the Aladin used was different, and asks whether you wish to proceed anyway. I've been through about 3 or 4 Aladins, as well as having borrowed some in the past too.
So, not a problem as long as you have access to the computer used. If you're talking about the import / export process. I think (though could very well be wrong) that you can do this on a dive by dive basis. You must export and import each dive individually between the dive logs.
Rich 05 Mar 2004 20:35:21 CelsiusHeat Re: Aladin DataTrak Software I'm pretty sure you can just import straight over your existing log file and the software will insert the dives as necessary. Just to be on the safe side, back-up your original first or create a copy and import over the copy. Another option is that the new SmartTrak software is compatible with non-Smart computer logs. (My Pro-Ultra worked). I downloaded and installed this, free from the Uwatec web site and then imported my old log into it.
