Dec 21, 2018 - To extract.bin files from these links unpack them: on Linux: $ chmod 755 CP022551.scexe $./CP022551.scexe --unpack=/tmp/iLO3 $ ls -l /tmp/iLO3. HOW TO Extract the contents of a.scexe file. Posted on January 17, 2014 by admin. HP Releases self-extracting firmware update files for Linux as.scexe files. These files usually contain an installer and a bunch of XML controlls. A -h flag provides a couple options for running the installer, but sometimes you don’t want to run it, you want.
I am trying to extract multiple filenames from the following.xml file. I then need to copy the list of files from one folder to another.
A part of the XML I have posted below: HP Broadcom Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for VMware 5.x CP021404.scexe HP Broadcom Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for VMware 5.x This package contains vSphere 5.1 and VMware Online ROM Flash - Power Management Controller CP021615.scexe I used Windows PowerShell as below and got the output, but the output contains filenames (CP021404.scexe, CP021614.scexe below), line# and symbol still in it. What am I doing wrong on my first PS attempt?
PowerShell $input_path = ‘C: PowerShell hpsum_inventory.xml’ $output_file = ‘C: powershell hpsum_inventory-o.xml’ $regex = '.exe' select-string -Path $input_path -Pattern $regex -AllMatches > $output_file Output PowerShell hpsum_inventory.xml:8: CP021404.scexe PowerShell hpsum_inventory.xml:18: CP021614.scexe. I have similar text file which does have have nodes.
Command and conquer generals zero hour cheats trainer. It look like***************erver Blade #1 Information: Type: Server Blade Product Name: ProLiant BL680c G5 Part Number: 443527-B21 Serial Number: USE007XLPS Server Blade #2 Information: Type: Server Blade Product Name: ProLiant BL680c G5 Part Number: 443527-B21 Serial Number: USE006XD8F and I need to extract serial numbers from it. Since it is plain text the syntax above may not work.
I was looking for another way to extract specific information from text file. – Jul 25 '14 at 19:15.
I have an iLO4 and the issue is I can't find the.bin file that is required to upgrade through the web interface. After doing a vMotion to get all my sessions off one host, I did the upgrade process listed on the HP site where the.scexe is moved to the ESXi host and then the server is put in Tech Support mode and the firmware update is run from there. It works and does not reboot the entire box which is what I was nervous about.
I did also see the firmware on the server was 2 years old so I took the opportunity to upgrade and reboot the box since I had the host in maintenance mode. Hi all, Lets expand on this just a bit for the next release of iLO v2.00. So I was going to go ahead an update ALL my hosts with this newer version.
I am currently running v1.5, so I do not have the issue reported in v1.51 release. Looking at the read me file, it says to update the following dependancies. I had not seen this on my last update to v1.5, maybe I did an I ignored it, unless this is something new for this release? First and foremost, do I need these?? I only use iLO for initial config and the odd remote in to console. I suspect these are all installed on a server of choice for iLO management?? Dependencies listed are: 1) HPQLOCFG 1.2 2) HP Lights Out Scripting Sample 4.4 bundle 3) HPONCFG 4.4.0.0 4) LOCFG.PL 4.40 (Included with Scripting Sample) 5) HPLOMIG 4.40 (Upgrade HPLOMIG before installing this version of iLO 4) The other issue is, even if I was to install these, going to the HP site and HP decides to use these acronyms it doesn't help when the product is NOT identified the same way on the Download page.
I had to click on every single link on the page to try and figure out what was what. Item 1= Lights-Out Configuration Utility Item 2 & 4= Lights-Out XML Scripting Sample for Windows Item 3= Lights-Out Online Configuration Utility Item 5= I have no idea what this is or where the download is.
