Excellent motherboard replacement for a Dell Dimension 3000 computer! I purchased this board to replace a defective motherboard in a Dell Dimension 3000 computer that had Windows XP Home Edition installed on it. It has essentially the same chipset and Intel socket as the original motherboard, but it is somewhat longer than the original. I searched for and found the appropriate drivers for this motherboard from Dell's support site and created a driver disk with them.

This motherboard turned out to be a suitable replacement for the original motherboard and works very well, despite the fact that it was pulled from a Dell Optiplex 170L machine. Also, the socket for this board is actually a Socket 478, not an LGA775 as the title implies, but I knew this as I examined the photos on the eBay listing before making the purchase, so no harm done there.
